DACTYLIOMANCY · RING DIVINATION
Chinese Ring-Thread Divination (Huan Zhan)
◉
Ring slid along a silk thread
THE RING SPEAKS
An obstacle that cannot be circumvented, only accepted. The jade ring — symbol of heaven's perfection — halts at the imperfection of the knot. Something in your path is permanent. Build around it rather than wasting strength pushing against it.
METHOD
A jade ring is threaded onto a silk cord with several knots tied at intervals. The ring is slid along the cord and the knot at which it stops is interpreted.
